damage & inspection

We pack and deliver your furniture with care, but damage can happen in transit. Here’s how to inspect your delivery and report any issue.

Inspect at delivery

  • Check boxes and packaging for visible damage
  • Inspect each piece for scratches, dents or defects
  • Make sure all parts and hardware are there
  • Test drawers, doors and mechanisms
  • Check fabric and upholstery

If you sign the delivery receipt without noting damage, a claim becomes much harder.

Reporting damage

  • At delivery: show the damage to the driver, take photos from several angles and note it on the receipt before signing
  • Hidden damage: report within 48 hours with photos and video; don’t repair or modify the piece
  • Manufacturing defects: report within 30 days

What we need

  • Your order and delivery date
  • Clear photos of the damaged piece and close-ups of the damage
  • A photo of the packaging, if relevant
  • The delivery receipt with the damage noted
  • A short description

How we resolve it

  • Replacement of the piece
  • Professional repair at our expense
  • Partial refund for minor cosmetic damage you choose to keep
